More than 20 cyclists from South Crankx Cycling Club conquered Mount Etna on a recent trip to Sicily.

The average cyclist took around four hours on the 20-km Etna climb from Nicolosi to Rifugio Sapienza through icy conditions. This route was the final part of the ninth stage of Giro d’Italia.

During their Sicily visit the cyclists also peddled through Nicolosi Natural Park and completed a 50-km ride to Il Ponte dei Saraceni on the outskirts of Adrano.
