There is good customer service and then there is excellent customer service.

Fifteen years ago, I had a kitchen made and installed with an empty space for a built-in dishwasher since we already had a free standing model which worked perfectly.

We were advised to order the front matching panel and put it away for when the old dishwasher gave up the ghost and the company would then see to its installation.

Fifteen years later, with the hardy dishwasher now dead and more on a whim than anything else, I contacted the firm and half jokingly asked if they would honour their promise. Before I knew it I had an appointment in hand for their installer to come and do just that... which he did, promptly and properly, and at no charge.
