So much has been said and written about Star, the dog, about the cruelty it suffered, and rightly so.

But isn’t shooting an innocent bird out of the sky and leaving it to suffer and die out in some field or at sea the same?

Or are birds lesser creatures of God? Who decides birds can be subjected to pain and cruelty?

Politicians?
