Croatia coach Slaven Bilic yes-terday set his team the target of taking maximum points from their remaining Euro 2012 qualifiers after naming a 23-man squad to play Malta and Israel next month.

“We have four matches left in the group and we go into them in optimistic mood.

“We are looking to win them all and seal our place at Euro 2012,” said Bilic at a press conference in Zagreb, yesterday.

Quarter-finalists at Euro 2008, Croatia currently lie second in qualifying Group F, one point behind Greece, and ahead of third-placed Israel on goal difference but with a game in hand.

Bilic is without Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic for the games, after the 31-year-old was ruled out for six to eight weeks with a hip injury.

Croatia face Malta at Ta’ Qali on September 2 before hosting Israel in Zagreb on September 6. Their last two matches are against Greece and Lithuania in October.
