A man is in critical condition after falling down a flight of steps in the apartment block in Valletta where he lives.

The police said the incident happened at about 1am yesterday in Triq l-Ibjar. Paramedics called in by a neighbour found the 40-year-old man unconscious in the landing of the upper floor.
