The queen of1990s disco music, Corona, will be performing live at La Grotta in Xlendi on Saturday.

Corona is actually the name for an Italian eurodance act fronted by Olga Souza, a Brazilian dancer and singer born into a musical family in Rio de Janeiro. Souza worked in a bank for a few years before deciding to travel around the world and ending up in Italy.

Corona is perhaps best remembered for the 1994 smash hit The Rhythm of the Night, a catchy tune which was the star of the dance floors that summer. Top Maltese DJs from the same period will be spinning the decks.

Partygoers can catch the show from 10.30pm onwards. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
