Copenhagen throws its doors open once a year for visitors to indulge in nocturnal exploration of the city’s museums, galleries, libraries, exhibition halls, churches and theatres, even the Rosenborg Palace.
Music, talks, parties, performances and food stalls fill the streets. Make sure you get a Kulturpasset, which provides admittance to the venues and free shuttle transport around the city. They cost DKK 90 (€12) and can be bought in most S- train stations, libraries and cultural institutions in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg.
