Setting up a cooperative bank in the light of Malta’s economic realities will be explored by Central Bank governor Josef Bonnici during a seminar tomorrow.

The half-day seminar, titled Cooperative Banking: An Alternative Model For Banking In Malta, is being held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.

Organised in association with the Central Bank of Malta and the Istituto Centrale delle Banche Popolari Italiane, the seminar will include a mix of local and foreign speakers, including Finance Minister Tonio Fenech, Small Business Minister Jason Azzopardi and Labour MEP Edward Scicluna.
