The highway in Naka, Japan, that was demolished by the tsunami on March 11 was rebuilt within six days. Good.

On April 1, in Mellieħa, one kilometre of tarmac was applied in one day and by the evening the road had been painted and opened to traffic. Very good. A few weeks ago, work on a 100-metre stretch of road in St George’s Street, St Paul’s Bay, started but work on it has not been done for at least one month. Excellent.
