The latest developments in the utter confusion which reigns at our supposed state-of-the art hospital is the result of the hard-headedness of Nationalist Party leaders and their motley crew. Both Eddie Fenech Adami and Lawrence Gonzi never accepted advice or suggestions when these were offered by the Labour opposition.

The government was advised by the PL to add another floor to Mater Dei Hospital when this was still being built. But, as usual, the government scoffed at this suggestion.

Had it accepted what was a very logical suggestion, Mater Dei wouldn’t be in the sorry state it is in today, which has rendered what was supposed to be a state-of-the-art hospital, into a state-of-the-art chaos.
