The Nationalist Party has lodged a complaint with the broadcaster for failing to report that the Chinese company to study the feasibility of a Malta-Gozo bridge had been blacklisted by the World Bank.

Addressed to station head of news Reno Bugeja, the letter expressed the party’s surprise at the decision not to report that China Communications Construction Company was blacklisted for fraudulent practices.

The company will carry out a €4 million feasibility study on the building of bridge between the two islands.

The party said this contrasted sharply with the importance the station gave to the meeting the Prime Minister had with representatives of the Chinese company.
