Bank of Valletta has announced a new member welcome offer linked to its American Express Platinum International Currency Card.

Until April 28, the bank is offering new customers, who are approved for an American Express Platinum Card, 50,000 American Express Membership Rewards points when they spend €5,000 or US dollars within their first six months of Card membership.

That would be enough for a return economy flight from Malta to New York, Bangkok or Shanghai.

Bank of Valletta is the only financial services provider licensed to distribute the range of American Express branded cards locally.

Air Malta launches Amitex offer

To support this weekend’s MFCC Amitex Holiday Show, the yearly travel fair organised by The Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, Air Malta has launched a promotional sale on all of its flights. The offer is available to 21 destinations with one-way prices starting at €39 inclusive of taxes and charges. The sale is being offered for travel between May 1 and December 6, 2017.

This offer will run until April 5 at 08.59am. Tickets can be purchased from the airline’s website www.airmalta.com, call centre on 2166 2211 and the airline’s sales office at Malta International Airport.

Tickets can also be purchased from any local travel agent.

The special offer, which is also available on business class fares, is available on flights to/from Amsterdam, Birmingham, Bristol, Brussels, Catania, Düsseldorf, Geneva, London (Heathrow and Gatwick), Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris (Orly and Charles de Gaulle), Prague, Rome, Palermo, Vienna and Zurich.

Seats are subject to availability, and terms and conditions may apply.

During the fair, which remains open till Sunday, Air Malta will draw two flight tickets to any scheduled destination from among fair goers.
