Citadel Insurance plc. has strengthened its insurance offering to include private medical insurance, formerly offered through its subsidiary, as part of its product range.

The health insurance products, underwritten by Citadel Insurance plc. are for those who can be particularly vulnerable to the financial impact of illness, but who typically find health insurance cost-prohibitive. The plans leave customers entirely free to choose the specialist, hospital or clinic of their choice. The Core, Comfort, Complete and Child Plans are designed to cover the cost of private medical treatment.

The entire health insurance range is currently being distributed through Citadel’s wide network of branches and intermediaries throughout Malta and Gozo.

Melita Wi-Fi travel

Melita’s free international Wi-Fi service provides free and unlimited access to voice and video calls, e-mail and messaging over internet platforms. The service is available for free to all Melita mobile and Fibre Powered internet customers. It is now available practically anywhere in the world through a network of more than 50 million hotspots worldwide.

Melita has also revised its mobile roaming rates in conformity with EU regulations. Roaming rates on the Melita mobile network are up to 47 per cent cheaper for normal voice calls, SMS and data usage while travelling in Europe.

To enjoy free and unlimited internet access while travelling abroad, one may join Melita Mobile or subscribe to Melita’s Fibre Powered internet and follow these three steps: download and install the melita Wi-Fi travel application from iTunes or Google Play; open the application and enter the MyMelita username and password; while abroad, use the application to choose any of the available hotspots available near you and you are ready to browse.
