Citadel Insurance has released the first multi-function insurance mobile application on the islands. The app, available for iPhone and iPad, will make interaction with Citadel easier and faster for customers.

Customers can obtain instant quotes for their car, home or boat insurance, while quote requests may be sent in the case of life insurance. Customers can also purchase travel insurance, access their account information and renew their policy from their mobile phones. Additionally, Citadel has included a claim kit for customers to use following an accident. Customers can also pay their bills through a secure payment system.

“We do our best to provide added value to our customers wherever they are, and our easy-to-use app brings just that,” said managing director Angela Tabone.

The Citadel app is available free from the Apple store.

Stress-busters from Kit Kat

Nestlé Malta Ltd has found a creative way to help consumers relieve some of their daily stress through a multi-faceted campaign.

In a bus-shelter campaign, Kit Kat ran a series of posters helping commuters to relieve stress while waiting for the bus to arrive, as well as equipping a number of bus shelters with pillows to rest against and bubble wrap to pop. Kit Kat also distributed 10,000 stress relief kits to a number of companies around the islands. It also launched a competition on the Kit Kat Malta Facebook page in an effort to encourage people at work, students and friends to photograph their five-minute breaks for their chance to win a €1,000 travel voucher from ROCS Travel to a destination of their choice.

More information on the terms and conditions to participate can be found on the Facebook page.
