In preparation for the expansion of its local chain, McDonald’s Malta will be hiring around 225 new staff members aged 16 and over, bringing the total Malta workforce up to 775.

This year’s recruitment campaign revolves around the theme ‘Mc it happen’.

“We believe that by offering our employees flexible schedules and empowering our crew to take control of situations and make things happen, we are able to offer our employees satisfying careers rather than simply offering jobs,” said Shaun Vella, HR manager at McDonald’s Malta.

Selected candidates will benefit from McDonald’s training programmes, regular crew activities, an open door management policy, flexible working hours, competitive compensation as well as the opportunity to participate in several reward and incentive programmes.

Interviews are being held at the InterContinental Hotel, St Julian’s, on March 29 between 9am and 4.30pm and at the ETC Office in Gozo on April 5 between 9am and 1pm.

MFCC Malta Trade Fair dates

This year’s MFCC Malta Trade Fair has been rescheduled and will now take place between June 26 and July 6.

The MFCC management had previously announced later dates in July to avoid clashing with the World Cup.

However, exhibitors stated that the World Cup, although an important event, has never kept consumers who need to purchase goods away from the fair.

MFCC will set up screens to ensure that football enthusiasts will have the facility to watch the match or parts of it while visiting the MFCC Malta Trade Fair.
