• The Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna Malta, in collaboration with J Piccinino Ltd, is organising a Gozo Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, today. Registration starts at 9.30am at Pope John Paul II Street, Victoria, near the statue of the Pope. The walk starts at 10am and ends at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary. Transport can be provided at a small charge for the return journey, but must be booked in advance. Everyone is welcome. • The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo are organising a charity sale next Sunday at the football ground near the main car park, Victoria, from 7.30am to 1pm. A fee of €10 per car space is payable on the day.

• The second Gozo Live book fair will be held in conjunction with Gozo College at the girls’ school next to Arkadia on October 16 and 17 from 9.30am to 2pm and 4 to 7 pm, and on October 18 from 9.30am to 4 pm. Fiction and non-fiction books for all ages will be on sale. Some authors will be available for book signing. There will also be readings at various times.

• Godzilla will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm. The Love Punch will be screened on Saturday at 8.30pm.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction. Masses at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Hamet, will be said today at 9.30am and at 7.30pm.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
