• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo will be holding a charity fair at the Victoria football ground (next to the main car park) today from 8am to 2pm. Each car space costs €10 and is payable on the day.

• Lenten sermons, led by archpriest Mgr Carmelo Mercieca, are being held at Qala parish church from tomorrow to Thursday at 6.30pm. Child minders will be available.

• Lenten sermons for young people, led by Fr Mark Demanuele, MSSP, are being held at the Qala parish centre from tomorrow to Friday at 7pm.

• A fundraising bazaar in aid of Carolina Cauchi Home will be held at Lourdes Home, Għajnsielem, today, tomorrow, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Plants, toys, clothes, shoes, books, sweets, fabric and yarn, and home appliances will be on sale.

• The field visit to simbiotic sites in Gozo scheduled for yesterday has been postponed to next Saturday. Free transport will be provided from Mġarr ferry terminal to the Government Experimental Farm in Xewkija at 8.45am. The activity will end at 12.45pm. • Gozitan artist Rachel Galea is exhibiting her fourth solo exhibition, Landscape Expressions, at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria. The exhibition, featuring a collection of expressive landscape paintings, will remain open until March 10. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 2.30pm, Saturday from 7am to noon and Sunday from 8am to noon.

• The Gozo Centre for Art and Crafts is offering short courses in cooking, book binding and basketry and cane work. Applications are available from the centre in J. F. De Chambray Street, Għajnsielem, until March 8.
