Last Sunday, I was at Dwejra. I was looking forward to visiting the Dwejra marine environmental education centre because I had read a good number of articles about it. I expected it to be open on a Sunday but, to my dismay, it was closed.

There was a sign on the door saying that the opening hours are from 11am to 3pm during the week only, excluding public holidays.

Should this place not have longer opening hours, including on weekends and public holidays, to cater for the Maltese and tourists who visit, especially, since it’s an EU-funded project?
