Outrageous outfits, over-the-top wigs and ambitious videos – Clinton Paul has done them all, and it’s all in line with his yearning to push boundaries with his music.

“I like pushing myself to the limit, and my latest album, Unbreakable, is proof of this,” he said in a comment. The album has already spawned four radio singles, Blackout, Birthday, Amazing and Dance With the Enemy, with recent radio single Supersonic Shockwave being the fifth.

“The song is a mixture – there are pop elements, of course, but you’ll also find traces of rock and techno blended together to make one interesting combination.”

Paul started out writing songs for other artists, but decided to have a go himself, releasing debut single Badass Soldier in 2010. The song, and its video in particular, stirred some controversy for various reasons. It also ensured that he would not be forgotten.

Since then, the flamboyant singer-songwriter has had his music played not only locally, but also abroad. His videos have been viewed as far away as Trinidad and Tobago, while his songs have made it to international airwaves, all the way to Sweden and Australia, in fact.

As the new single picks up more airplay, its music video is currently in production, due for release in the coming weeks.

Supersonic Shockwave is available from all internet download portals.
