The Kilimanjaro Challenge is just €5,000 short of reaching this year’s goal of raising €60,000 to build a house hosting 100 physically disabled, deaf and blind children in Awasi, Kenya.

Group leader Keith Marshall told President George Abela previous expeditions had raised in excess of €350,000, which were used to build a school and convent in the Ethiopian village of Bulbula, within the Meki province, among others.

For this year’s edition, Kilimanjaro Challenge 7 (KC7), the group will be contributing to a project undertaken by the Missionary Movement – Jesus in Thy Neighbour.

Anyone wishing to help can make a donation by sending an SEMS as follows: 50618062 for €4.66 or 50619224 for €11.65.
