On April 20, Sir Temi Zammit Hall of the University was the venue of L-Għanja tal-Poplu.

This song festival, which is now in its 37th edition, is still going strong, almost 40 years after its humble beginnings

The festival is a jewel in our local cultural scene.

This year, it was a show brimming with enthusiasm from some young and very promising Maltese singers. There was a marvellous fusion of past and present cultures.

Thumbs up to all participants but, especially, to YTC and their team of volunteers, who, against all odds, have managed to keep the flame of passion and dedication burning. It was a great tribute to the Maltese language and to local talent.

Many thanks for the wonderful evening. Keep it up!
