The Prime Minister often complains that the Labour Party is urging us to change direction.

“Why should we change,” he asks, “and in which direction do they want us to change?”

The thing is that, as a matter of fact, it is not the Labour Party that is clamouring for change. What Labour has done is listen to and reflect the wishes of the people.

If the Nationalists were to re-read that famous internal, confidential report they themselves commissioned after the Nationalist fiasco in the MEPs’ election a few years back, they would remember the laments of the people. If they are genuinely convinced that they have addressed the grievances raised by the people in that report, then they have nothing to worry about. But, if they haven’t, then they should expect what’s coming to them!
