On December 6, through this paper I brought to light the unusual fact that, since September 2017, when schools in Gozo reopened after the summer recess, our island’s unique School of Music again started its curriculum without the services of a violin teacher.
Notwithstanding the fact that all schools have restartedtheir curriculum after the Christmas holidays, the position in question has not yet been normalised.
It’s a pity that Gozitan students are bearing the brunt of this important vacancy. I wonder why Gozo has restarted being treated by the competent authorities as the Cinderella isle.
