It may have taken Chordust three years from the day the band got together to releasing their debut single, but they’ve definitely taken the bull by the horns in coming up with its follow-up.

After making a name for itself with Hyberbolic Attitude last April, this young Maltese quartet has just released a brand new and equally punchy single Not a Fan (of You), which packs as much energy as we have come to expect from Chordust.

By their own admission, they are constantly seeking to find new sounds and their own unique style, and this, to some extent, is also reflected in the way their new single wields a dynamic flux in both rhythm and vocal melody, boosted by lavish bass lines and guitar work.

This is certainly a step in the right direction as the band continues to gear itself ahead of a return to the love circuit that it had, bar a couple of appearances during Malta Music Week, BJs and in Floriana. Till now, the band has practically shunned all appearances to focus on song-writing and recording.
