Chinese specialists who had treated President George Abela when he was accidentally injured during a state visit to China two years ago will see him again today... to say hello.

The specialists form part of a high level delegation from the Shanghai Health Bureau, which is on a three-day visit to Malta. The delegation has already been to Dubai and Tunisia where they had talks with the health authorities there.

The delegation was invited to Malta by Reno Calleja, president of the Maltese-Chinese Friendship Society and general secretary of the Malta-China Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation will have talks with University Rector Juanito Camilleri. Mr Calleja said cooperation between the University of Malta and several universities in Shanghai would be discussed These universities, he added, were likely to prove very useful in providing scientific support to the Life Sciences Park that Malta Enterprise is building in San Ġwann.
