Uefa has awarded Go the TV and media rights to the Uefa Champions League for the next three seasons as from August 2012.

Go has acquired the rights in respect of all live matches, delayed matches, highlights on both nights and the magazine programme.

Go said it will ensure football fans in Malta will have access to eight live matches being broadcast each match night across the Go Sports pay channels. Go will also broadcast matches on mobile and internet.

Go already holds the exclusive rights to the Italian Serie A league until 2012 and the Barclays Premier League until 2013.

The addition of the Uefa Champions League will give its sports customers unparalleled choice, convenience and great value.

A total of 145 live matches per season will be broadcast on Go Sports starting with the play-offs in August and continue through the group stage between September and December.

Go Sports will continue with full coverage of the knock-out rounds in the new year and the final knockout phase, which culminates with the final match in May, an event viewed on television by around 145 million people.

Go also has the rights to the Uefa Super Cup.
