I refer to the article entitled ‘Will you live to be 100?’ (The Sunday Times of Malta, September 15).

For clarity’s sake I would like to point out that my father lived to his 100th birthday plus nine months in 2006, my grandmother to her 102nd birthday less three days in 1973 and my great-grandmother was 100 years old minus a few days in 1900.
