An application is currently in progress for a development permit on a site identified for an animal cemetery, Environment Minister Leo Brincat told Mario Galea (PN).

The site, on government land in Ta’ Qali, will be used to incinerate animals as EU rules prohibit their burial. The project will be private, on land allocated on temporary emphyteusis after a call for tenders.
