Barocco Foundation is organising a concert to celebrate the magnificent musical works of Italian baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi.

The Kalypso String Quartet will be performing some of the exuberant and sparkling music of the celebrated composer at Palazzo de Piro, Mdina, on June 25 at 8pm.

The programme will feature Vivaldi’s exuberant and flamboyant music as the Kalypso ensemble will perform Sinfonia for Strings in C Major, RV116, Concerto for Strings in D Major, RV121, Sinfonia for Strings in D Major, RV122 and also the Spring and Summer movements from his famed The Four Seasons.

The Kalypso String Quartet is made up of Klara Nazaj (violin), Giulia Tavano (violin), Ina Georgieva (viola) and Akos Kertesz (cello).
