I would like to share with readers some knowledge about an alternative to IVF (in vitro fertilisation), a programme which is acceptable to Catholic teaching
It is called the Life Fertility Care programme, an exciting new way of looking at how fertility works. The approach is very different from that used in IVF.
Its promoters provide tailored medical treatment and support every cycle while one tries to become pregnant. They support early pregnancy too, if necessary. They offer a true fix, not a quick fix.
And everything they do conforms to the teaching of the Catholic Church on human sexuality and procreation.
Treatment at a Life Fertility Care clinic means you are given answers as to why conception has not happened so far, your normal fertility health is restored, you will feel healthier, your normal conception potential is encouraged, you retain the joy of natural conception and you as a couple share the journey which, hopefully, leads to parenthood.
This method can treat unexplained infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, one blocked fallopian tube, low sperm count, adhesions, previously failed IVF and anovulation. But it cannot treat absent sperm count, premature ovarian failure, blockage of both fallopian tubes (unless corrected by microsurgery) and established menopause.
Contact with Life Fertility Care can be made either via www.lifefertilitycare.co.uk or by calling 01926 834 654.Life Fertility Care operates under the aegis of the Life Hospital Trust (registered national charity no. 1031019).
