It is ironic that Arthur Galea Salomone calls liberals ‘fundamentalists’ (November 22) when his own emotionally-charged language and the epithets he hurls against liberals make him sound so fundamentalist.

To paraphrase Dr Galea Salomone, Maltese Catholics “are increasingly conducting themselves in a manner that seeks to impose” their religious values on others, not only through the endless sermonising of bishops, priests, and laymen, but now even through their MPs at the European Parliament.
