Careerpassport, the online and social media-oriented recruitment management software, recently attended the CIETT 2012 World Employment Conference in London.

As exhibitors, Careerpassport met with chairman of the REC’s Technology sector Jeff Brooks and head of brand partnerships Chris Howard. They also enjoyed networking with other top recruitment software companies My Resourcer.com, and Jelf among other exhibitors.

The CIETT World Employment Conference is a highly anticipated event in the recruitment industry. It was attended by 300 senior HR executives from recruitment agencies and businesses across 26 countries.

A highly commendable speech was delivered by Giles Guest, who addressed global growth and provided insight on how to improve one’s perception of growth.

He focused on what employers are currently doing and how this can be improved. Mr Giles spoke about the importance of posting jobs on the “right websites” and how social media platforms such as Linkedin, if used to full potential, are a powerful source for candidate search.

This key function is a standard feature of the Careerpassport recruitment tool-set and is a significant enhancement to other recruitment solutions available on the market. “The feedback from the event emphasises the need for our product. It makes us confident that in terms of functionality, customisation and rapid development we rank at the same level as some of the larger players in the industry,” said head of business Matthew Caruana.
