The HTC Evo, one of the first smartphones to integrate 3D into its display has been launched locally.

The HTC Evo captures 3D video and photos through an improved camera and a full-HD camcorder with zero shutter lag and stereo sound recording. These can also be seen in 3D-true-to-life detail on the phone’s display, without glasses. The large 4.3-inch touchscreen displays crisp websites, vivid images and fluid video on a pixel-packed HD screen.

The latest blockbusters can be seen through HTC Watch – a new service that starts the show seconds into the download and monitors the internet connection to ensure uninterrupted viewing. Through HTC Sense, users can also share photos and videos in different ways – by streaming content with a private audience through a TV or share it on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube.

A wide variety of 3D games are available for this new phone and more are to come.

The HTC Evo 3D boasts an active lock-screen with zero steps to access information and tasks and a home-screen with richer content and a new visual design that accommodates more information and live updates.

The smartphone operates on Android V2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense and allows faster browsing due to its fast dual-core processor and the latest Flash player.

The HTC Evo 3D is selling from Vodafone stores at a discounted price on smartphone plans. For more information call 247 or 9999 9247 or visit www.vodafone.com.mt/htcevo3d.
