For the third year running, ICTSA, in collaboration with Ultra E-Sports, is hosting the much anticipated Campus LAN 2016. The annual ICTSA Campus LAN gaming event, which brings together more than 80 game enthusiasts, kicked off last Friday and is on today, its last day, at the Microsoft Innovation Centre at Skyparks, Luqa.
Gamers registered for the event will be competing for the final championship and all proceeds from ticket sales will contribute towards a donation to L-Istrina.
Spectators are more than welcome to drop by and support their friends, as well as invited to give a donation to L-Istrina. PCs and consoles will also be set up at the venue for casual gamers to participate in games such as Rocket League, Tekken and other Playstation emulator games. A 10 per cent discount on Razor products from Ultra Computer Store will be given when purchasing a Casual Gamer ticket.
The event is sponsored by Ultra Computer Store, KONNEKT, IL-Forn Ta’ L-Għawdxi and Microsoft Innovation Centre.
ICTSA is the ICT Students’ Association, representing both University of Malta and Mcast
students specialising in ICT. Together with the Faculty of ICT, ICTSA organises quality events
throughout the year to keep contact with the students in case any issues arise.
