The Nationalist and Labour parties have signed a joint declaration calling on their respective supporters not to convert their enthusiasm during the electoral campaign into “any form of incident”.

The declaration was signed by PN general secretary Paul Borg Olivier and Labour president Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi. Both officials appealed for everybody to conduct themselves in a sensible, prudent and tolerant manner during and after the campaign.

Dr Borg Olivier and Dr Zrinzo Azzopardi also agreed that open vehicles and vehicles without a licence should not be used to ferry party supporters.
