The ASM Pasta Poiatti National Championships drew to a close last Sunday after 15 autocross events throughout the season.

The moto-trials championship will conclude on Saturday with the final race starting at 4 p.m.

Clayton Camilleri, riding a KTM, secured the Motocross A title with a total of 182 points from 200.

Carmel Borg (Suzuki RMZ) was second on 171 points and Paul Muscat (KTM) third overall on 157.

Turu Micallef led the Motocross Class B with a winning total of 166 points.

Gozitan rider Charles Borg (Honda) took the runner-up spot with 127 points ahead of James Zahra on 122.

In Autocross Class A, the overall winner was Christian Galea who pipped Patrick Cassar to the title by a single point.

Galea gained a total of 90 points in his Fiat Ritmo, prepared by the Zanu Racing Team. Cassar drives an Opel Corsa, prepared by Tony Engineering Works.

Matthew Borg was the top driver in Autocross Class B with 55 points with Mario Scicluna oc-cupying second place on 46.
