Three-time Russian champions CSKA Moscow won their sixth Russian Cup beating 2-1 Alania Vladikavkaz in the final at Yaroslavl central stadium yesterday.

Ivory Coast forward Seidou Doumbia put the Red Army side into the lead, when the match was 13 minutes old firing in past Alania goalie Dmitry Khomich from Vag-ner Love’s cross.

But 10 minutes later Alania striker Danila Neko pulled the scores level sending the ball home with a help of a slight ricochet.

After the interval CSKA went on the offensive anew and Doumbia netted the Muscovites’ winning goal in the 69th minute, scoring with a close-range header from his Japanese team-mate Keisuke Honda’s right-wing cross.
