CSB Group and its legal arm Zammit and Associates represented Malta at the Milan Totally iGaming Week, the world’s largest dedicated iGaming event, for a 10th year.

Also known as EIG, the event last month brought together 1,500 key stakeholders, managing directors and chief executives within the international igaming industry, including top operators, the ‘eGaming Review Power 50’ list, and Malta’s regulator, the Lotteries and Gaming Authority.

Milan Totally iGaming Week attracts participants from all areas of iGaming, from senior management to specialists in areas as diverse as strategy and research, law, regulation, finance, marketing, business development, fraud, gaming software, payments and IT.

The Lotteries and Gaming Authority, CSB Group and Zammit and Associates Advocates, were among the event’s numerous sponsors and exhibitors, in their ongoing effort to sustain Malta’s reputation as one of Europe’s most promising markets operating in a global context.

CSB Group and Zammit and Associates explained to visitors how innovation is a crucial notion and is at the heart of Malta’s gaming industry. Malta’s regulatory framework continues to push up the jurisdiction’s ranking higher in terms of financial market sophistication: the island was recently ranked 11th among 139 economies in the global competitiveness table.

“We continue to note an interest in Malta as the preferred jurisdiction of choice for igaming start ups,’’ CSB Group chief executive officer Michael Zammit explained.

“Last year’s event, and the recent Malta iGaming Seminar we organised, also served to demonstrate that innovation is as key as creating new market niches for the industry.”
