The disruption of the regular bus service to Għargħur last May 28 without any valid reason defies all logic.

Posting impromptu decisions on suspending the service on the website is no answer since commuters do not consult websites before boarding their “regular” bus.

A regular service is called so because of its regularity

And, anyway, the Arriva website states that buses 35 and 36 pass “regularly” through Għargħur every half an hour.

A regular service is called “regular” because of the regularity with which it is supposed to operate.

Hopefully, Arriva will understand the nuance of the terminology and stick to its advertised schedules.
