I boarded the 120 bus at St Julian’s on Friday at 9.30pm to be asked for the umpteenth time if I had a Malta ID card.

As if this was not annoying enough, the bus driver was speaking on his mobile phone while driving. How can you drive a bus with one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the phone? This is common practice on buses and can be seen by the police but, as usual, nothing is done about it.

Maybe something will happen when someone is killed by these arrogant bus drivers who flout the law continously.

Or maybe the two major political parties touting for votes will actually implement the laws that are in place to stop these things happening. Somehow I doubt it.
