Dion Buhagiar, general secretary of the Archery Association of Malta and international judge, has just been named by the World Archery Federation as the chairman of the Judges Commission officiating at the archery events at this year’s Olympic Games in London.

Prof. Buhagiar has been in-volved in archery since 1993. He has competed at national and international level and won both the national outdoor and indoor championship on a number of occasions.

After becoming an international judge in 2003, Prof. Buhagiar officiated in a number of high-profile events which include the Paralympic archery events at the 2008 Beijing Games, world championship events and a series of World Cup competitions.
