British guests Barbara Wells and Margaret Nicholson have picked The Victoria Hotel in Sliema several times for their holidays in Malta.

Ms Wells and Ms Nicholson, who were here with their partners and chose to stay at The Victoria once again, both refer to Malta as their second home. Mr and Mrs Wells have been visiting for the past 40 years.

Ms Wells can still remember her first stay in Malta, which wasn’t at The Victoria Hotel.

“Nineteen years ago we chose The Victoria for the first time, as we were told it’s a quiet and comfortable place. Our first stay was very satisfying and we kept coming to Malta and staying there. My husband and I loved the style and character of this hotel,” Mrs Wells said.

Margaret and Dave Nicholson have celebrated their 40th stay at The Victoria Hotel. The couple have been coming to Malta for over 25 years. They first stayed at the hotel in 2005, following a recommendation by a Maltese friend. Since then, they have been repeatedly coming to Malta and always choosing The Victoria.
