TCTC is a household name in ICT and business courses and is renowned for reputable courses offered for free from most local councils in Malta and Gozo.

For the past 25 years, through market research, expertise, and the strategic placement of TCTC centres, TCTC has developed a range of innovative training initiatives to stimulate all citizens to participate in learning ICT. Since 1987, Mr Ray Abela, TCTC director, has seen the company expanding and today it operates 31 training centres and 38 classrooms around Malta.

Mr Abela has always emphasised the importance of ICT. For the past 10 years, he has delivered his education philosophy on television, producing and presenting a range of popular television productions such as Click, E-Gov for You, Dot One, E-Biz and EM Citizen. He was nominated Top Entrepreneur for 2012.

TCTC holds international recognition and represents a range of international accredited bodies to certify its wide range of courses like ECDL, City & Guilds and SAGE. Through City & Guilds, TCTC offers a range of business and soft skills courses. An evening course designed to cover important areas such as English for Business Communications, Book-Keeping and Accounts, Business Studies, Computerised Accounts (SAGE) and Customer Care is offered on a part-time basis, providing students with the opportunity to gain new career skills while remaining in full-time employment. TCTC is also known for quality courses in ECDL certifications. ECDL courses, both at core and expert levels are held at TCTC’s training centres. These courses are also offered on an individual basis.

Recently TCTC offered the opportunity for citizens to apply for free training courses. The ICT4U course helps beginners to understand the concepts of basic ICT skills. Those who already have a good understanding can apply for another free course in ECDL Start covering three of the most important ECDL modules.

E-Lifestyles is next in line – this training project embraces the e-skills needed to live in a modern society with topics ranging from online shopping, internet banking, social networking, Paypal, E-Gov and e-services. This course is subsidised.

TCTC has always provided the Maltese business community with strong support through specialised training programmes. TCTC understands the value of continuous professional development in the field of human resources. TCTC also provides corporate companies with tailor-made training courses.
