A fun day with a Brazilian touch was held at the Hibernians Stadium on Saturday. The event was co-ordinated by Rodolfo Soares, Hibs’ Brazilian defender who wanted to give children a Christmas treat away from their computers and tablets. “I had an idea to hold an event for kids. I wanted to show them that we can also play and have fun without the use of tablets and game consoles,” Soares said. Players from Hibs men’s and women’s senior teams attended Saturday’s event where the young participants enjoyed football and face-painting activities with Brazilian music in the background.
