The Palace and 202 Jewellery are taking part in the Book Box Malta initiative to promote reading in Malta by installing a red telephone booth at the hotel’s Talk of Town terrace.

The traditional red telephone box, which has been transformed into a small swap library, is open to the public during the day to exchange books. The hotel management will ensure that the Book Box is always filled with a variety of books.

The Book Box initiative, which is also found in other countries like Germany and France, was started in Malta by English teacher Roberta Genovese with the support of friends and various other communities.
