The third edition of the Marsalforn Blood Drive, held last Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., was a huge success. In just four-and-a-half hours, about 54 people turned up to donate blood, most of whom were first-time donors. The event was organised by the Marsalforn Catholic Community in collaboration with the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps. The staff at the National Blood Transfusion Centre Malta and Gozo General Hospital Blood Donation Unit, Hotel Calypso and Solar Engineering Ltd supported the event.
