Tony Iommi’s health issues may have caused a few setbacks in Black Sabbath’s plans, but not only did they not stop him penning Armenia’s Eurovision Song Contest entry for this year, they also havn’t held the band back from announcing a UK arena tour.

According to news released on the internet, the band will kick off the tour at London’s O2 Arena on December 12.

Other dates confirmed so far include Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow and Manchester, with a homecoming show at Birmingham’s LG Arena set to take place on December 20.

The live dates will also be promoting the band’s latest album 13, which is due for release in June.

The first album to feature Iommi, Ozzy and Geezer Butler in over 30 years, 13 was recorded with legendary producer Rick Rubin, with drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine) stepping in for Bill Ward, who quit the band last year citing contractual issues.
