A biker is fighting for his life after he was involved in a traffic accident with a van yesterday morning.

The 52-year-old man, of San Ġwann, was driving a Kawasaki when he collided with a Ford Transit driven by a 39-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay at about 7.15am in George Borg Olivier Street, Mellieħa.

An 18-year-old woman, of Mellieħa, who was riding pillion, was also slightly injured.
