The 13th edition of the yearly Boys Junior Lyceum fundraising bike marathon will begin on Friday.

After the Prime Minister’s go-ahead, a group of cyclists will leave Auberge de Castille and make their way to the Boys Junior Lyceum in Ħamrun to kick off the 50-hour marathon.

The marathon is aired live on national television and apart from cycling, there will be games, talent showcases, exhibitions and a kids’ area, as well as zumba, judo and aikido sessions, modified andvintage car shows and bandperformances.

This year’s beneficiaries will be the children’s homes of the Ursuline Sisters.

‘Milk is good naturally’ – a campaign funded by the EU, the Joint Committee for Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib and Malta Dairy Products, and the Ministry for Resources and Rural Affairs – will set up a cyclists, pit stop and provide participants with a glass of milk.
