We always hurry to complain but are never so quick to praise or thank and I would like to set the record straight in some small measure.

It was necessary for me to have a brain scan and an appointment was made at Gozo General Hospital. However, I foolishly mistook the date and missed the slot.

On realising my mistake, I called at the Radiology Department to apologise and ask how I could get another appointment.

Imagine my surprise when the technician said he had some time free and would I like it done there and then! He did not chastise me for missing the original appointment but was kind, efficient and courteous and all was completed with a minimum of fuss.

So thank you very much to the Gozo General Radiology Department, especially to the gentleman who dealt with me.

This truly was a case of excellent patient service and I feel it should be acknowledged.

I am happy to say the results of the scan were good as well.
